Started with One Clear Idea
Savutha was founded after our Managing Director, Hlengisizwe “Sizwe” Mlilo, observed a recurring, costly problem across several high-end construction sites.
Clients were forced to manage up to five different separate contractors simultaneously: one for lawn layout, another for pop-up irrigation piping, another for swimming pool excavation, another for paving surrounds, and yet another for structural waterproofing.
The unavoidable result was constant delays, poor communication, finger-pointing, and finishes that simply did not work together.
Sizwe utilized his deep, corporate project management background to bring all of these specialized outdoor trades under a single, highly coordinated professional crew. Today, Savutha plans and executes connected projects seamlessly from the initial site inspection to final handover.

Irrigation Project Leadership From Hlengisizwe “Sizwe” Mlilo
Sizwe began his career as a project manager coordinating highly complex corporate and residential structural developments. During those years, he learned exactly how to coordinate multiple trades, optimise budgets, control strict timelines and protect overall quality standards.
He holds official qualifications in Project and Disaster Management and is certified by the prestigious South African Irrigation Institute (SABI).
Sizwe’s professional background ensures every project Savutha undertakes is technically sound, budget-controlled and executed with your goals at the centre.
Beyond projects, Sizwe is dedicated to local job creation and skills development, actively working towards establishing a QCTO-registered irrigation training institute in South Africa.
